KAREN MCPHEE GLASS is produced at her studio on the New South Wales Central Coast, one hour north of Sydney, Australia.

With clear sheet glass as her 'canvas' she conveys her art concepts with the introduction of colour, form, texture and design using kiln firing and cold working techniques to create visually decorative and functional forms. Her work approach is often realized as a one of a kind or developed into a series or body of work.

With ongoing exploration of the glass medium and technical approach and application, she utilizes qualities of transparency, translucency and opacity to relate a visual dialogue of her interaction with the Australian natural landscape and a love of her coastal surroundings.
